“Varsity Voice,” SFBN Talks High School Sports Show, Returns to The Comcast Network This Fall

PHILADELPHIA, PA – After the great success of the first season of SFBN Talks High School Sports in the 2014-2015 school year, The Comcast Network (TCN) has renewed The Sports Fan Base Network’s (SFBN) high school sports talk show for the 2015-2016 school year.

The show, now entitled “Varsity Voice presented by SFBN,” will remain in the Wednesday 6 PM time slot on The Comcast Network, but will have an additional replay at 10:30 PM on TCN. SFBN will produce 20 episodes of Varsity Voice starting on September 9th, 2015 and commencing on June 1st, 2016.

“Varsity Voice” will continue to discuss the top high school teams in Philadelphia, the surrounding suburbs and South Jersey. Segments will continue to include discussion and analysis with some of the top high school sports commentators, writers and coaches, exclusive interviews with coaches, players and administrators, and features focusing on some of the best stories in high school sports.

Varsity Voice presented by SFBN will continue to be hosted by Ari Bluestein, the CEO, Executive Producer and voice of The Sports Fan Base Network. Ari will be joined again this year by an array of co-hosts and guests throughout the school year, including some of the top local coaches and high school sports writers.

“SFBN is excited to renew our relationship with The Comcast Network for the 2015-2016 school year,” Bluestein commented. “Varsity Voice presented by SFBN will continue to put local high school sports in the spotlight on cable television to a large viewing audience in the Delaware Valley.”

“Combining the talk show and our online live streams of local high school games, SFBN is establishing itself as one of the top sources for high school sports in the Philadelphia area,” Bluestein added. “High school sports needs a voice on television, and SFBN will provide that with Varsity Voice.”

“We are happy to partner once again with SFBN to showcase the best Philadelphia-area high school athletes,” said Bob Selah, Comcast SportsNet programming director.

The Sports Fan Base Network (SFBN) is an online sports network owned by Amusement, Recreation, Imagination, Inc., based just outside of Philadelphia. SFBN, which launched in August 2012, streams games live over the Internet at, and the live streams are archived as well.
