Pennsbury Crushes Council Rock North in Friday Night Light Action

September 25, 2017

Pennsbury started slow out of the gate, but with great defense on the defensive line, the Falcons were able to keep the Council Rock North Indians off the board early. The offense eventually caught up with the defense when Zach Demarchis threw two touchdown passes to give Pennsbury a 14-point lead over CR North.

To start the second half, Demarchis had long passes to David Burke and Justin Shutt. To cap off the drive, Robbins scored, bringing Pennsbury ahead 21 -0 in the middle of the 3rd quarter. Council Rock North retaliated with a big touchdown run to make the score 21 - 7. The 4th quarter ended with CR North securing a field goal while Zach Demarchis threw a touchdown to Robbins.

Pennsbury won the game by a final score of 35-13. This win over CR North moves Pennsbury to 4 -1. Pennsbury has another big game as they travel to Bensalem on Thursday night. Thursday’s match-up will be a great game as it’s for 2nd place in Suburban One League (SOL) conference.
