Strawberry Mansion Defeats Academy at Palumbo to Move to 5-2

After more than a 50 year stretch of not having a football program, the Strawberry Mansion Knights look strong in 2017 through its first six games, going 4-2 and recently topping the Academy at Palumbo Griffins 26-6. Strawberry Mansion's program returned in 2015 and the process just started. Now Coach Dan Quigley has a lot to look forward to with this revamped program.

Academy at Palumbo came into the game 1-3 after suffering a tough loss to Bristol 20-6. Now at 1-4, Academy Palumbo is hoping to turn the season around with just three games left, all being conference games.

However, Strawberry Mansion is looking to reach the playoffs and have the best season in school history.

Both teams have three conference games left against division rivals: Thomas Edison, Roxborough, and Kensington.
