Norristown quarterback Izaiah Webb throw for four touchdown passes and led his Eagles to an easy 35-0 win over the Methacton Warriors at the school's homecoming game.
The Eagles started things off with a bang as Webb connected on a 40-yard bomb to John Devine to give Norristown a 7-0 early in the 1st quarter. Webb then hit Eleazer Hill, who was named Homecoming King at halftime, on a 3-yard pass at the end of the 1st quarter and then on a 30-yarder in the 2nd quarter. Webb's fourth and final touchdown pass was a 17-yard connection with Austin Montgomery.
After Norristown took a 28-0 lead over the Warriors at the half, running back Kirk Wilson scampered 17 yards for a touchdown that would make it 35-0, thus triggering the running clock.
Norristown improves to 2-5 on the season and have a tough Pioneer Athletic Conference matchup with conference leader Perkiomen Valley next Saturday. Meanwhile, Methacton (0-7) is still looking for their first win on the season but it will not be easy as they end the season with Owen J. Roberts on Friday night followed by Perkiomen Valley the following Friday.
