This was when senior forward Alana Cardona came alive for the Indians. She finished with 15 points, but her eight points in the final overtime powered Souderton to the district championship.
Cardona scored five unanswered points late, grabbed a big rebound when the Indians needed a stop, and was fouled with just 39.2 seconds remaining.
After hitting one of two free throws, Souderton clung to a 50-46 lead. CB South scored on their next possession to make it a 2-point game. A fourth overtime looked possible.
On the inbound pass, Cardona was fouled again. This time she hit both free throws to make it a two possession game and give the Indians a 4-point lead.
